What is the average lead time?
Normally we can ship within 3 to 4 days. Depending on your country, the shipping time of 1 to 4 days needs to be added.
Where can I see the track & trace information?
Can I pay using bank transfer?
Yes, this is possible but not recommended. The procedure is more costly and takes more time.
For transfer from outside the EU, select ‘Pay all charges’, otherwise you will be asked to transfer the remaining amount and will be charged again by the bank.
In this situation, it is better and cheaper to use a credit card. Most credit card include a ‘buyer protection’.
If you select “Bank Transfer (Pre-)Payment”, you will receive an mail with the “Grand Total (incl. Tax)”.
Make a bank transfer for that amount.
Mail us when that should have arrived with us. (you may also mail a copy of the your bank statement).

Where can I get training
The installation and operation of the device is rather simple. No training is required.
For the interpretation of results and finding causes of problems, a training on E-Bike repair may be usefull.
There are a few trainings available:
How are VAT taxes handled?
VAT / BTW / MwSt are value added taxes. Our Shop system handles the EU rules for VAT by checking the VAT number, country and keeping track of the IP address.
When all is well, VAT is not charged for customers in coutries outside The Netherlands.
Netherlands customers will use their normal VAT return procedure.
You will see this in the checkout screen, after entering your address and VAT number.
Orders can not be accepted without a valid VAT number.
Therfor, small businesses without VAT number can not order directly, only though another company.
Is a manual available?

For orders of 4 or 10 pcs we can give a discount:

We like to make everything as clear as possible. That is why we spend a lot of time building a demonstration and trial function in our software.
This way, you can try each and every feature, without the cost of shipping devices for trial. This way, and by means of our automated webshop we save on sales cost. This allows us to give you the best price, directly from our website.

Can I receive an Invoice for my order?
Ah, yes of course. The invoice was sent as PDF attachment when you placed the order.
Alternatively, if you can not find that email:
- Click “My Account” (top of the page) and log in.
- Then click on “Orders” to see the list of your orders.
- Use the “Download Invoice (PDF)” button to get the invoice.
How to interpret a test report
Normally you will have the charger connected and the tester control the charger. If not, you must be certain that the battery was fully charged before testing.
On the report, there are 3 important number to look at:
- Capacity in Wh
- Capacity in Wh
- Internal resistance
They can be found in the Test results part of the report (see this example).
The battery is either specified in Ah or Wh (example: 11Ah or 400Wh). Both numbers are on the report. In this case, both indicate around 96.6% you can assume that this is correct. The impedance (internal resistance) is below 400mOhm (and even below 200). Tis is a good value. Lower is always better.
The conclusion is that the battery is very good and can be used normally.
The graphs give extra information:
The first 2 graphs show the voltage (red), current (blue) and the impedance (internal resistance, green).
The curves are nice and smooth. During the parts with constant current (in this case the entire measurement) no irragularities should show.
On the 2nd plot, you may read the capacity in Ah at the moment the voltage stops.
Finally, the charging curve shows the voltage during charging. If you battery allows BMS readout, most batteries will also show the temeprature during charging.

What is the voltage range of batteries that I can use?
It is true that a fully charged battery has a higher voltage, but that is OK.
E-Bike batteries are mostly 24, 36 or 48V, so they can all be tested.
Lead acid batteries of 12 or 24V can also be tested very well.
What does Load Voltage and Open Voltage mean?
The Analyzers measure the voltage during load, and when the load is dis-connected from the battery.
The voltage measured when dis-connected is called the Open Voltage. Both are used to compute the battery’s internal resistance (impedance).
Because of current effects, special DSP (Digital signal processing) algorithms are used to compute the impedance and Open Voltage.
What does it mean: Peak power?
The maximum and peak power is important to know how the bike motor can be simulated during acceleration. Nomally, the peak current is then almost 2x as high as the normal motor power.
A proper analyzer must be capable of testing the acceleration.
Examples for different type:

All analyzers can be used upto a certain maximum power. But it also has a current limit like 16Amp (BA600/750/900). Power (in Watt) is the product of the voltage and the current (P = V * I).
As example; 500W at 36V translates to a maximum current of some 12 Amp.
Here is a table of the maximum settings that are allowed:

Note that the max. current is computed at the Voltage of the fully charged battery, not its nominal value.
The BAxxx analyzers will automatically trim power and current to within the allowed operating area.
I want to do a measurement with different currents. Can I do this?
Yes, you can. But for this, you need access to Battery Profile editting.
Battery manufacturers, battery repair and test shops can request access via a ‘support’ request.
Can I test 2 batteries in parallel?
Yes. The analyzers have 1 discharge unit, and you connect 2 chargers and to batteries.
Since charging is most time consuming, time reduction is mainly achieved by activating the chargers in parallel. So the charge-discharger-recharge sequence for 2 connected batteries and chargers is:
The charge time is usually about 5 to 8 hours, the dis-charge time about 1.5 hour.
The advantage is that you can run the system unattended overnight and have 2 batteries tested.
Impedance / Resistance measurement
Impedance is the general name for internal resistance measured using frequencies, like 0Hz (resistance) and 100Hz or 1000Hz (impedance). The Analyzers do both the resistance and impedance measurement. Both are computed from the “Open cell voltage” (VOC) and voltage during load (VLD) and load current (ILD): Resistance = (VOC – VLD) / ILD. This represents the resistance in the battery and wires (inside the battery pack).
The resistance of the connection wires from the battery to the analyzer is compensated by use of the SENSE+ and SENSE- wires.
When applying long-term load differences, the resistance of the battery at 0Hz can be determined. For this, the discharge method “Resistance measurement” can be added to the measurement profile.
This applies the 50% and 100% of the specified current in sequence during some seconds. Then the resistance is calculated and put into the output report.
